Heating engineer for Melksham, from just down the road
Melksham is one of our closest towns, about 7 miles from our base in Trowbridge. You pay the same prices as Trowbridge, with no travel charge.
Melksham has grown a lot. Alongside the older stone houses in the town centre there are large newer estates around the edge of town, such as Bowerhill and Berryfield. Older homes often have a regular or system boiler with a hot water cylinder, a pump and zone valves. Newer homes mostly have a combi or system boiler on a sealed system.
If your heating works but the hot water doesn't, or the other way round, the cause on a cylinder system is often a stuck zone valve or a failed pump. Diagnosis is included in the callout, and parts are agreed with you before anything is fitted.

Out of hours (evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays), an emergency callout where we come out now is £360, as are booked bank holiday visits. My heating works but there's no hot water. What's wrong?
On a system with a hot water cylinder, a common cause is a stuck zone valve or a faulty valve motor. It can also be the cylinder thermostat, the programmer or the boiler itself. We find the fault first; diagnosis and the first hour are included in the callout.
Do you cover Bowerhill, Shaw and Seend?
Yes. We cover Bowerhill, Berryfield, Shaw, Whitley, Beanacre, Semington, Seend, Atworth, Broughton Gifford and Holt, as well as the rest of SN12. Not sure if you're covered? Call and ask.
Rather talk it through?
For breakdowns and leaks, calling is quickest. For a new boiler or anything else, send a message and we'll call you back.
